More information

Would you like to discover the most incredible corners of Gran Canaria? Do you want to explore places far from the tourist hotspots? This 4×4 Jeep Tour will give you the opportunity to discover hidden gems of the Canary Islands.

Once the group has gathered in Maspalomas, we will depart for the Lomos de Pedro Alfonso ravine, enjoying spectacular views towards the Aguineguin ravine, before arriving at the Chira Dam. Construction began between 1941 and 1944, but the final project was completed in 1965, giving it its current appearance. It is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular and beautiful civil engineering works in the Canary Islands, offering a unique landscape on this side of Gran Canaria. This area has a climate typical of the southern midlands and is located within the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve, one of the island’s most distinctive landscapes. We continue towards the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, arriving in Tunte, its capital, where we will visit the old town and its church. Our route then continues towards the Barranco de las Mil Palmeras (Ravine of a Thousand Palms), passing through the charming village of Fataga. The final stop will be at the Mirador de Las Moscas viewpoint, where you can take photos of the valley and admire the Maspalomas Dunes. From there, we’ll head back to the hotels, concluding the excursion.
