Enjoy Fuerteventura’s most unknown coastline and discover Jandía Natural Park with this hiking route, packed with hidden corners where you can observe countless terrestrial fossils and paleodunes formed by erosion.

The route, of medium difficulty, begins in the Barranco de Pecenescal, where we’ll head northwest along the historic Camino de los Presos (Prisoners’ Path) until we reach one of Fuerteventura’s most impressive landscapes: its immense desert of white sand dunes. Afterward, we’ll head southwest to discover some of its natural caves, where we can take a short break while listening to the roar of the waves and admiring the Cofete Arch and its miles-long beaches.

9:50 AM: Meeting at Pecenescal Ravine

10:00 AM: Start of the hiking route
